This fabulous collection of art is from the personal collection of my uncle Ron (1940-2015). He was a retired Colonel of the U.S. Army and in the Reserves for 39 years. Ron received his B.S. from Indiana State University and earned his M.S. from Purdue University. In 1969, he completed his L.L.B. degree at Blackstone School of Law. He completed his PhD in 1972 at Purdue University. He worked in many fields and was a district agent for Prudential Insurance Company and later, Allstate Insurance Company from where he retired.
Ron loved art and traveling. This is a photo of Ron sitting next to the modern artist Alfred Gockel, who he commissioned to have an original completed. He is survived by his partner, sister, cousin, two nieces, and nephew. I also have his some of his pieces listed on Etsy and Ruby Lane under the Lutes Family art name. I hope that site visitors get to share in the splendor of his collection that was once his passion and that these pieces will be purchased by other lovers of Modern Art and enjoyed for many years to come.
